This project, done in 1984, combined a major set of steps up to the house, an acoustical barrier with glass inserts for light, an interior court entrance with covered entry and deck overhang, and a deck over a new carport with planters everywhere.

The result was greatly reduced noise from the street, a great view out to Lake Washington and a private area at the front of the house for living and entertaining.
